Travel Asia: Visiting Pattaya
Pattaya offers a lot of excitement for tourists. There are many hotels and restaurants in the area that provide delicious Thai foods. The beach is beautiful and there are many things can be done here, such as swimming, sun bathing and playing Jet Ski. Entering the beach is free, but people must pay 30 baht when using the beach chair and the Jet Ski usage rate is 800 baht per half hour.
The nightlife in Pattaya is actually what made the beach even more interesting. Pubs and shows by the Lady Boys is one form entertainment that can be found here. One of it is the Alcazar Cabaret show which is located in Pattaya 2nd road.
There are two schedules at the Alcazar Cabaret show everyday, on 6 PM and 8 PM. VIP seats priced at 800 baht, while seat in the back row or on the edge will cost 600 baht. All prices include one glass of soft drink. The show is magnificent and visitors can expect superb dance routine from the Lady Boys. After the show,there is a photo session with the performer which cost 40 baht.
When visiting Pattaya, be sure to visit the Sriracha Tiger Zoo which can be reached with a couple hour drives. The zoo offers many amusing activities and amazing tiger shows. Visitor can expect to see Bengal tigers, crocodiles and various kinds of animals in their natural habitat.
Another wildlife sanctuary that is also great to visit is the Elephant Village, which is a care center for the animal. A visit to the Elephant Village will not only provide unique experience, but also a means of contributing to the very survival of elephants in care.
Visitors may also interested to visit Koh Larn (Coral Island) which can be reach by boat from the harbor in Pattaya. The rate is around 30 baht per person for one way trip to Koh Larn. The island can be reach after 30 to 40 minutes trip.
A row of colorful umbrellas with chairs for sunbathing embellish the beautiful beach of Koh Larn. Unfortunately,the seats are not free. There are also many stalls selling souvenirs or clothes, and a wide range of restaurant that nearly all of them serving seafood. The island is quite large, so it takes a long time to explore the whole area. Visitor can rent mini bus to transport them to other parts of the island.
