Volunteer to help The Boss at the Super Bowl!
Sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are looking for volunteers to participate in the Super Bowl XLIII Halftime Show!
Just think of it! Performing with the Boss! At the Superbowl! Who wouldn't want to volunteer?
According to the website, Halftime Entertainment Logistics, Inc. is looking for groups of at least 10 members to participate. That's easy, right? Everyone has at least 10 friends who love Bruce!
But the devil is in the details.
Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation and lodging. Carpooling is encouraged. I guess if you live close to Tampa that's no big deal, but trucking from NC could be difficult.
And that leads us to lodging. Understandably, all group members have to commit to being present at every rehearsal. Driving back and forth from the Tarheel state on Sunday, January 25th, Tuesday, January 27th, and Thursday January 29th, might be a bit much. And group leaders have to be there Friday, January 23rd for Leadership Orientation.
Parking won't be as bad on Game Day - participants will start and end at an off-site location. Group leaders will receive details and parking passes at the end of dress rehearsal.
Oh, and by the way, tickets to the game are not included. And all rehearsals are not with Bruce and the band.
Nothing is perfect, right? And of course there's no guarantee your group will be selected for participation, but hey, this is a chance in a life time--a cool experience to add to your Glory Days.
Would You Volunteer?
