What an Easter Basket
Easter Morning is Almost Like Christmas Morning
I can remember waking up on Easter morning, sneaking downstairs before my parents were awake, and sneaking a peak at what the Easter Bunny had left for me. All sorts of goodies that I couldn't wait to dive my hands into. Now that I have my own children, I hope to create that feeling for them when they wake up on Easter morning.
Choosing the Right Easter Basket
Choosing the right Easter basket for you children is not that hard of a task, You just want to make sure that the items that are in the basket will be enjoyed by your child. For me, my boys do not eat a lot of candy, so we do not put a lot of candy into the baskets. Instead, we fill them will small toys like cars, coloring books, and crayons because we know that they will be enjoyed by the boys. Filling an Easter basket yourself allows the freedom to choose what goes into it.
Filling the basket yourself allows the possibilities to be endless. You can create a theme of your own. One year, my oldest son got a brand new tricycle that pulled a wagon. The wagon was the Easter basket and we filled it with little goodies. Our son really enjoyed that Easter basket. Of course, they don't have to be that extravagant, but you get the idea.
Taking the Work Out Of It
If you do not have the time, or the creativity to create the Easter Basket yourself, you can get ones that are pre-filled. This takes the work out of creating the Easter baskets. Many of the pre-filled baskets have a theme. For example. Crayola offers and Easter basket that has everything to do with being creative. There is also a basket that is made for young teenage girls and it has everything to do with journal writing. These baskets are sure to be a hit with any child.
