My Hubpages Tribute To All My Friends On Hubpages!
As it's Christmas I just wanted to say thank you to all at Hubpages for making my year and a bit very enjoyable! I have laughed and cried, giggled and wow'd! I have met some great people, and I meet more every day.
The one thing that I love about Hubpages is that you meet so many people from around the world. In a normal day you only see the people who you work with or friends in your town.
But on here I have met Americans who are lovely jubbly! ha ha Indonesians who are so sweet I could hug them, and Canadians who are great and have the same sense of humour as me! Oh, and so many other nationalities I couldn't count them here!
I first wrote this back in 2011 and I left a load of tributes here to many other hubbers. When I first started reading this again to update I realised that they had all left!
Its sad to see that they have gone, but you are all here now and I have met so many new and fascinating people.
So this time I am not going to write down names, just in case you all decide that actually you are planning on going to move on to other pastures Too! Don't you dare! lol!
So to all of you, have a great Christmas!
Seriously, thanks everybody, and now I will leave you with some of my great photos extraordinaire that I took yesterday trekking through the snow, on a one horse open sleigh.... well, perhaps not, just trekking actually! I nearly fell in the river taking them, but that shouldn't surprise anyone! hee hee so here we go, take notice of the fine white snow, and the white fence's and the white trees.......Um!
It was dark and cold that winters day,
I couldn't see a thing,
The snow was blue, or was that me?
So cold my fingers sting!
The railway track was white with snow,
The service stopped again,
So we had to walk a while,
So cold I must be insane!
Here's the alley near my house,
It looks eerie and so white,
Its pretty in the daytime,
But so scary in the night!
The river's turned into a wonderland,
I wish it would stay this way,
But soon the snow will disappear,
Then the Sun will be back to stay.
Me nearly falling backwards in the River!
Nell Photographer Extrordinaire! Ho hum!, well perhaps not....!
I know, I know! perhaps not that good, but you must admit the red tights on the line were worth waiting for? Yeah? see? No? Okay, I think I will stick to writing!
HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY!
