I will never forget my 12th grade senior trip. First of all this is back in 1985, when Cedar Point was the "it" park. I mean we talked about this trip all year. Of course you build it up so much in your mind, there is nothing to do but go and have fun right?
Well not really. The week before the trip it was Scorching hot. I mean temps in the high 90s which is almost unheard of for Pa. in May. That is the same time we all go shopping for the "it" outfit, and because it has been so hot, we all go and buy skimpy tanks and short shorts, and proceed to talk about who is going to the "IT" girl and who is going to get the hot guy's number.
Of course we were all disappointed the day of the trip when we woke up and found the temps had plummeted into the 60s and there was rain expected all day. Needless to say, our hopes for wearing our "it" outfit were dashed!!!
