Habee - every year I say I'll start buying early and I never do! Or I buy and then use those gifts for birthdays, etc. Good plan to start early - means you miss out on all the price escalations as we get closer to Christmas :)

What a great idea! If I can do that this year, then I definitely will. I can't stand the way that the stores push up the prices as we get closer to Christmas. This year everyone is getting home-baked cookies. But will keep in mind for next year :)

That sounds awesome! Very creative, and I think that home-made gifts are much better sometimes. This year we're also doing home-made due to finances. I'll be making some cookies and putting them in little boxes or jars. Quite excited actually :)

Yay! Someone else who is also making gifts this year. Mel, I'm in the same boat as you - having just taken up full-time freelancing there are won't be money for those kind of luxuries. I'm looking forward to getting creative in the kitchen though! :)

Wow Angela, that sounds incredible! I want to come to your Christmas Eve dinner! :) We've only ever really celebrated Christmas Lunch, so I look forward to starting a new tradition soon. It's home-made gifts for us this year - gourmet cookies! :)
