How Is Mother's Day Celebrated In Other Countries?

In Ireland we have it on Sundays. Families go out to restaurant and children buy small presents for their mom. Giving gifts is fairly a new thing here.

In Canada we celebrate Mother's Day the same as you do in the USA and on the same day too.
In Mexico it is on Monday. It involves sticky sweet and wonderful cakes, desserts, and of course, taking her out for a meal!!!
In the UK, I believe we have it earlier than the USA, and as its origins were a religious celebration, it is called Mothering Sunday.
