   Would you be offended at seeing someone at Halloween wearing the "Sexy Ebola Nurse" costume..

   Given that I live in the area where two nurses got sick, and that part of the team treating local Ebola patients was on TV last night, looking absolutely nothing like this, I'm pretty sure anyone wearing this here would not be well received. Don't mess with Texas!

   You shouldn't immediately assume this is a real thing. For the past few weeks, there have been all kinds of fake costumes or falsely-named costumes being passed around as real lately ("Anonymous Hacker Guy," "Ebola-chan," etc.), and I'm highly suspicious that this is another one of those.

      If I were to take a wild guess I'd say some quick thinking costume company simply unpacked last year's leftover "Sexy Breaking Bad Meth Lab Assistant" costumes and re-branded them.

   Offended, no. I just don't find it funny and in poor taste, given the seriousness of the situation. I think those who were directly affected would clearly be offended.

   To "whomever" it was who thought that marketing this costume was a great idea:   May you aggressively seek the mental help (therapy & Rx) you  so clearly need.  I can think of very little that would be more sick, cruel, insensitive and disgusting.  A lethal disease which has taken the lives of thousands, spread globally, created fear & panic and remains an egregious epidemic......is about as un-funny, un-festive and immoral as possible (even for the very sickest of minds). 
   On behalf of humanity, this not only offends me.....it shames me.  I sincerely hope that "Doctors Without Borders," and hundreds of other medical personnel, risking their lives at this moment, never have sight of this trash.

    Knowing what I do now from the image that you provided, I think it's a bit too soon. I would've just assumed it was some kind of general biohazard suit, which is just as inoffensive as the nurse or police unofirm. But calling it an "Ebola Nurse" costume, as well as the word 'sexy' just comes off as tasteless and I'd even go as far as say it's creepy - the word Ebola comes to mind first, and when followed by sexy I'm just not getting those funny, erotic vibes from the thought of the costume.
    
    As ebola hasn't hit the UK I can't say I'm really offended, but I know many others will be and they have the right to lash out against such a senseless idea. The only funny thing I can think of about this, is that they had to put a note in the picture saying "this item is not suitable for protection against hazardous materials", because someone out there was stupid enough to believe it was. ^^
