We deceive ourselves all about with sweet words of love and empty promises, we ourselves are imperfect, inaccurate and filled with inabilities. At Christmas we gather everything if possible that this world and money could afford and hope to make ourselves happy and comfortable with those short-lived things and yet not satisfied and free from worry. The question now is; is this all you can do? Is this all the earth could afford you? Is this all you are living for?
The fact that you are alive today is as a result of the price paid by the very son of God. He said in His word” greater love hath no man than this that a man should lay down His life for His friends”. Friend the price for your freedom has been paid so many years ago, there is no need for you to be bound by the pleasures of this world, accept Jesus now as your lord and saviour, ask Him into your life and family, no matter how far you might have gone into the world or sin, He has the power to bring you out at once. It all depend your response, if you respond immediately, it is well with your soul. It is only after you have aloe\wed Him into your life that you can have a meaningful celebration at Christmas.
