Diaper Wreath Instructions

Use these diaper wreath instructions to make an adorable gift for those special, expecting loved ones in your life. They are fun to make and make great gifts and decorations for any baby shower. An even better use for them would be to hang them on the door of the delivery room or hospital room once the baby arrives. They are the perfect, inexpensive and easy to make baby shower gift!

By just following the simple steps below, you can create a great gift in under an hour.

What You Will Need to Make Your Diaper Wreath

Start with a wreath base.

You will need diapers.  The amount that you need will depend on the size of the wreath base.  I used a 12" wreath and 13-14 diapers.

Baby essentials that you will be attaching to the diaper wreath.

Clear rubber bands to secure the Diapers onto the wreath base.

(Optional) You can add colorful ribbon to cover up the rubber bands and to add more color.

Instructions:

Start with the wreath base.  This one is 12" Styrofoam  wreath base.  There are other types and sizes.

You will need to open the diapers just like this and begin wrapping them around the wreath base.

Secure each diaper around the wreath base by using clear rubber bands.  (These are not clear but the only ones I had)

Continue to wrap the diapers around the wreath base until the entire wreath is covered.  Try to get the diapers as close together as possible so that the wreath base is not showing.

Embellish the wreath base with colorful and/or curly ribbon to hide the rubber bands.

Add pacifiers, bottles, socks, baby washcloths, bibs, rattles, teething rings, infant spoons and forks, etc.

Here are some pictures of completed diaper wreaths.  You can make them any color and match them to any baby shower theme.  The items are secured with double sided tape and some are tucked away using the clear rubber bands and ribbon.
