Though I don't really do much for any holiday unless I feel so moved, I do wish everyone well for the holidays and especially good cheer, lots of fun and fond memories.

Happy Thanksgiving!  It's my favorite holiday, non-denominational and good eats!

I wish you all the best too, and remember your dogs this holiday. Giving her a big plate of turkey is not doing her any favors.

Got it, Dr. Mark! I've learned a lot over the years, including from you, about foods that are okay and those are dangerous for my dog. My dog is going with me to my dad's house for Thanksgiving, but he won't be enjoying the foods that I do! :-) Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

      Happy Thanksgiving to all!

My family gets together quite a few times during the year, so Thanksgiving isn't that big of  deal.  Instead of our usual 15+ we'll only be 5 tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to my tofurkey and the vegan chocolate cake my sister picked up from Whole Foods.   (I'm looking forward to the cake the most...LOL)

Have a great day however you all spend it!

DrMark1961, no dogs here. I went fur free years ago. I have enough trouble with housekeeping tasks without the addition of a pet. I'm thinking of going the fish-tank route.

However you're spending the day even totally disregarded be thankful for what you have this day and every day of the 365-day year. I have something everyday to be thankful for.

My Thanksgiving trad is to go to Fur's and enjoy a hearty meal. I don't spend time in the kitchen much these days, so I've not made a turkey (any day of the year) in ages.

Thanks for all the well wishes and whatever you do, be safe and enjoy your loved-ones.

Ha! You got me there. However, fish don't shed, don't need a litter box, don't need a daily walk (well multiple times in a day), don't hog the bed, don't take my favorite chair, don't sneak the pizza from atop the stove when my back is turned. wink

NOTE: I clicked the report button first when I started this reply. Need that cuppa.

Aracnea: Fish tanks are an expensive venture.  Cleaning, caring for fish, testing water, making sure they have the right temperature, right amount of oxygen, getting rid of algae.  It is a lot of work. There are fresh water and salt water tanks, you need appropriate fish which are not cheap for each type of tank
