With flattery your presence here. Uplifting with humor I discover. Otherwise weather here in San Diego is cloudy a little rain. Temp dropping into the 40's over night from 70's in daytime. Drastic? I dun'no, but went from a blanket to firing up the heater. last night.
Paradigmsearch, This is a broad question. But in all honesty, I am grateful for: Knowing Jesus and how He gave His sinless life for a wretch like me and freed me from nicotine and alcohol--I do not thank him enough. For my wife of 40 years and all she has been to me. For my three precious grandkids and what talents they possess. For YOU, paradigmsearch, and ALL OF MY WONDERFUL Hubpages Followers and how they, along with you, have touched my life. For all of our Veterans and the price the paid for our freedoms. For food, bed, home, and even with Fibromyalgia and a recent heart cath, and both are very painful, I am grateful to be alive. For my church and church leaders who confess that they are not perfect. For HubPages, my haven of sanity. For my country, THE GREATEST nation on earth. And lastly . . .for the opportunity to share just a few of the things I am grateful for.
I have seen awful. So glad I am still walk and talk. Lab rats we are.https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=7616331840433074252#editor/target=page;pageID=9164386897741823035;onPublishedMenu=pages;onClosedMenu=pages;postNum=3;src=pagename
I'm grateful for my loving and supportive family. 46 degrees out and a furnace running at 68 degrees. Fairly good health. The opportunity to spend Mom's remaining days at home with her. Living out in the wilderness where I grew up. Every sunrise and sun set. Running water. For dishes, pots and pans, etc. Amazon Prime. A nice car. Mouse traps. Plenty of food. Coffee. I could keep going on because I am grateful for every big and little blessing.
