What is the true,down and gritty meaning of the holiday of turkey day? Let's debate I'm curious.
Well, I can't speak for everyone, but for my family, Thanksgiving means a time to:
* be thankful for our many blessings
* reunite with family and friends
* enjoy a wonderful meal
* spend time with and share the feast with those who don't have family
* kick off the Christmas season
I personally think all holidays are somewhat fake. Don't get me wrong. I don't think it's wrong to take a day and remember to be Thankful for what we have. But how many people actually do that? I think Society is quick to accept holidays and feel compelled to celebrate them without asking themselves why, or if they really want to...
