Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland
Mickey's Halloween Party is Disneyland's answer to Walt Disney World's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It used to go by the name Mickey's Halloween Treat and then it was called Mickey's Trick or Treat Party.
The Halloween party is usually held at Disney's California Adventure, but Disneyland and Halloween fans are in for a treat this year because for 2010, Mickey's Trick or Treat Party is moving to the Disneyland Park with a new name, expanded trick or treat stations and the Halloween Screams Fireworks Spectacular.
I'll be in California in October this year, so I'll get to attend the Disneyland event. If you are closer to Florida or planning a special Fall trip to WDW, be sure to check out my hub on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.
The Disneyland event isn't nearly as extravagant as the one at the Magic Kingdom in Florida, but since Disneyland features the Haunted Mansion Holiday and the Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, I think it makes up for it.
The Nightmare before Christmas redress of the Haunted Mansion is reason enough to visit Disneyland. It is wonderful and unique to Disneyland. They don't redress the Haunted Mansion in Florida.
So be sure to dress up in your favorite Halloween costumes and head over to Disneyland throughout the month of October for a fun and safe trick-or-treating adventure.
Mickey's Halloween Party 2010 at Disneyland
Mickey's Halloween Party is a "Hard ticket" event. This means that regular Disneyland admission tickets or annual passes will not get you into Disneyland on the nights the party is being held. You will need a special ticket. Here are the details. And don't forget, if you are an annual passholder or DVC member, you can buy discount tickets in advance for select nights.
The party starts at 6 pm, but you can usually enter the park a few hours earlier. I believe you should be able to enter the park after 3 pm.
All ticket prices also include parking, which is a good deal.

DVC Discount Tickets
Disney Vacation Club Members may purchase as many as eight tickets at the discounted price of $44 each for parties taking place on Oct. 1, 5, 12, 19 and 26 (regular prices are $49 in advance, $54 on the day of the event and $59 for the Oct. 29 and 31 parties).
To purchase tickets, call (714) 781-4400, and identify yourself as a Disney Vacation Club Member. Each ticket includes event admission, as well as Disneyland Resort parking for one vehicle (larger vehicles may require an additional fee) on the specified event date.
Annual Passholder Discounts
I don't currently have a Disneyland annual pass, so I don't have access to their special site, but I imagine prices and dates are the same as for DVC discounts.
