About Stan
The most 'normal' of the four boys, Stan is usually the leader of the group. Honest, mature for his age, and well-meaning, Stan is slightly more assertive than his best friend Kyle. Stan lives with his parents Randy and Sharon and has an older sister named Shelley. He suffers from asthma and at one time had a dog named Sparky. Although the youngest of the group, Stan has the most common sense.

Appearance
Stan is usually dressed in a brown jacket, blue pants, and red gloves, with a red and blue hat.

About Kyle
Best friend of Stan, Kyle is usually the most morally centered boy of the foursome. He is also quick to anger and easily frustrated. Kyle is constantly put down by Cartman for being Jewish. He lives with his parents Gerald and Sheila, and has a Canadian-born adopted brother named Ike.

Appearance
Kyle is usually dressed in a bright green ear-flapped ushanka (a type of hat), a bright orange jacket, dark green pants and lime-green gloves.

About Cartman
The antagonistic, self-centered child of the group, Eric Cartman is known for his loudmouth and tantrums. Noted for being the 'fat kid', he incessantly picks on the other three boys. Cartman especially picks on Kyle for being Jewish. One of the most bigoted characters on television, he also is a cunning master manipulator bent on getting his way. Cartman lives with his mom and their cat.

Appearance
Cartman is usually dressed in a red jacket, brown pants, yellow gloves, and a blue and yellow hat.

About Kenny
As the boy who died in nearly episode only to return the next week, Kenny is a poor boy who hangs out with Stan, Kyle, and Cartman. His voice is always muffled by his parka hood but the others always understand him. He is also the most knowledgeable of the four about most matters in life. Cartman picks on Kenny because he is poor. Kenny lives with his parents and siblings in a trailer.

Appearance
Kenny is always dressed in a bright orange parka with the hood pulled tight, orange pants, brown gloves. He is rarely seen with his hood down.
