The Darice 80 Piece Deluxe Art Set-a Gift to Stimulate Creativity
A Wonderful Gift for All Ages
Several Christmas seasons ago, I purchased an 80-piece art set for my grandson Evan. He was thrilled to receive it and immediately opened it up and began drawing. With color pencils, oil pastels, water paints, color pencils, and accessories all in a handy carrying case, it made a wonderful gift. He still uses it when he has an art project that needs to be expressed.
I remember when my husband and I went to have dinner at our daughter's home. After every meal at her house, she spends time with the kids sharing. That evening the topic of feeling had come up, and each of us was given a sheet of paper to draw how we felt that day. Evan brought out his art kit and shared it with us so we could complete our drawings. We all had the opportunity to use whichever medium we wanted to create our feeling picture.
We all had fun sharing our drawings and explaining how we felt and why we felt the way we did. This was a lovely evening, and I was impressed that the kit was still intact. This is just one of the ways our family spends time together; art is usually part of our evening. We like to stimulate creativity in the children and help them learn to be artistic. As teachers, my husband and I have witnessed firsthand the need for children to be inspired by adults. So I think this year I will give some of the younger children in our family art kits as a Christmas present.
Even if you think you do not have artistic talent, some of the most straightforward projects can become extraordinary works of art for your home. Purchase a large canvas, determine the colors you want to use, and start soon. Abstract art is easy to make and can be an excellent project for a budding artist.
The Color Pencil Drawings
Art To Stimulate The Brain
Creating art is a beautiful way to use free time. It is up to you what type of art you want to make. It can be something you want to keep and hang in your home, or you may want to give it away or sell it. Adults enjoy doing art projects, and as you can see from some of the photos in the article, simple shapes can make beautiful pictures.
Why not invest some time with an art project today? I love to make art and often use it in my home for decoration. I also like to give it to relatives and friends. I have thought about selling it online but have not made anything specifically yet. I suppose I will consider doing a project soon and see what happens.

Childhood and Art
It is never too early to encourage an interest in art. Children of all ages enjoy creating art projects. Children need to learn to use crayons, colored pencils, and paints since it stimulates the brain and causes it to grow. In addition, the more a child experiences art, the better they learn math concepts such as shapes, space, and color.
You may find a child who prefers to use one color, or he may enjoy experimenting with many at one time. The best thing for parents and teachers to do is to allow kids the opportunity to create their art pieces through experimentation. This will help develop a better understanding of how a line becomes an art. The first stages of learning are usually scribbled on the page using whatever drawing devices the child may use.
Once the child has begun to draw on their own, it is best to let them learn by practice. It is not necessary to guide them to a perfect drawing. Children will learn at their own pace, and there is no right or wrong way to draw. However, if allowed to practice frequently, the child will soon learn how to draw simple objects.
