I was planning a birthday party with Yogi Bear party supplies for my nephew since he love the DVD so much. He thinks the world spins around that movie and takes with him wherever he goes. So when my sister said she needed a theme for his birthday party this year I suggested one with you guessed it Yogi Bear. She thought that it was and excellent ideas so be started planning immediately.

We decided to get lots of those mylar balloon with scenes from the movie and let them be part of the decoration and when the party goes went home we gave each of them one to take home. One of my favorite decorations was the cake we made with a Yogi Bear cake topper. It way one of the easiest ways to decorate a cake I ever have done. We simple frosted the cake place the graphic cake overlay and added a few borders with a pastry bag, The candles were placed and voila we had a professional looking cake.

The cutest thing about the party were the face mask we got. There was one for each child and while they watched the DVD they wore them. It was the quietest part of the party. Once the activities were over many of the parents commented on how creative our ideas were. One of them wants us to help plan a party for her child next month.
