Christian music has several styles and generes like secular music. I want to put the spotlight on great Christian male vocalist. Check out these award winning singers.

Michael W Smith is a best selling award winning artist that takes a lead in Praise And Worship music and mild Contemporary. Churches everywhere sing his songs beacause they so devoted to worshipping God. The song " Above All " is beautiful and is a great song to sing at Easter time and all time.

You are about to meet human dynomite Ruff Taff. This explosive Pentecostal vocalist not only rides the range, but he's not afraid to be real, natural and let it all burst from within soul. He was formerly with the group The Gaither Vocal Band. He is the star of every show he's involved in. You can see him dancing or he just might burst into tears while he singing. GET PREPARED to tap your foot and clap your hands to Russ Taff singing Pentecostal Holiness Preacher Songwriter Claud Ely's song " A'int No Grave."

Gordon Mote is an amazing talent, but what is more amazing than what you hear is the person he is. He is blind, but that never stopped him from pursuing his dreams. He is a Nashville accomplished studio musician and singer. He has played music for several well-known country singers as well as christian singers. He is married and has a beautiful wife and children. His disability does not intimidate or slow him down. He now travels with the Gaither Homecoming Tour as their pianist and preforms vocally as well. This song " Through My Eyes" is an absolutely gorgeous love song he wrote for his wife, totally romantic. Get out your hankie and listen to a man that should inspire us all to never let anything stand in the way of our dreams.

Bart Millard is an outstanding singer he is the lead singer of the group Mercy Me which is one of the best-selling Contemporary Christian groups. This song " I Can Only Imagine" went really big and even topped the charts in secular music. He wrote it after the passing of his father. My husband lost his father at 20 years old, this song is a blessing for those who have their hope in Jesus and the promise of eternal reward for accepting salvation: Get out the Kleenex and enjoy:

Papa I can only imagine what you might be doing in heaven right now, since theres probably no Diet Dr. Pepper you are probably drinking from the crystal river and running and shouting like you did when you preached , but now you never get tired. Jason Crabb has took the world by storm with his outstanding vocals, charisma and soulful style.

He and his family group the Crabb Family were no strangers to the charts, hitting #1 several times with their dynamic songs. Since the group disbanded, Jason now travels as a solo artist and associates some with TBN, he is a preacher as well.

Jason called me one time, interested in my songwriting, I was so shock and excited as well. I have met him he is very nice. He never went ahead and started the songwriting co, but he encouraged me to keep writing, he liked my songs. Here he is singing " Redeemer."

There is many more great male vocalist in Christian music, I have given only a tiny sample. I want to close with an absolutely wonderful tenor sounding singer by the name of Mark Schultz. He is a talented pianist as well as singer. He writes all of his songs I believe so he's got it.
