Now that the March Madness tournament Is over for the day I can get down to business . It has been a week about AIG and more AIG . And like all of you I am about as pissed off as I can be . Lately as I have been thinking about this whole bailout mess , It has occured to me that we have really taken our eye off the ball .  I do not know about you ,but I am not fooled for a minute by the phony outrage of Congress and the Senate In regards to the bonuses for the AIG employees . Now all of a sudden these phonies are trying to act like they were duped and were In no way responsible for those bonuses and are trying to come out like the hero ! I do not know about you , but has It not occured to you that I have never seen so many grown adults try to fend off responsibility like I have In our present times . I am outraged by such recklessness without accountability .

                As well as camping out In front of AIG  employees houses maybe we should be doing that In front of the Congressperson In your district  and let their staff know exactly how you feel ! I encourage you to send them an email regular mail and a phonecall to let them know what a bunch of Idiots they are and make It a point to let them know ,they have not an Icecubes chance In hell of getting reelected ! Folks we have recourse against these people , Its called do not reelect them !!! I have said this till I am blue In the face and I will say It again . VOTE OUT ALL INCUMBENTS !!!! You wanna scare them do not reelect them !

                   Why am I so mad at Congress and the Senate ? Because the bonuses were written Into the stimulus bill by Chris Dodd a Democrat ! Who In his defense originally did not want to write In the bonuses , but the Treasury Dept wanted It ! Why I am mad at him Is because he caved ! He had a chance to do the right thing and he folded like a lawnchair ! And I am mad at Congress and the Senate because this was all written In a bill that nobody bothered to read , which If memory serves me correct IS THEIR JOB !

            Now normally I am a regular guy , with a jovial sense of humor . But my pissed off factor Is growing exponentially and has been for the last 7 years. I am runnin out of funny . And from all Indications so are the rest of you Including the wannabe lynchmobs In front of the AIG employees houses .

    I would like all of you to take a cue from us Californians on how to make our Governments life hell ! California as you may have heard recently passed a budget just bogged down with tax Increases ,up to that point we were running on a 42 billion dollar deficit . The Republicans were standing on no tax Increases for a state with 10.5 % unemployment rate. Seems pretty reasonable to me . Well 6 Republicans caved they are now known as the Sacramento Six and they are being targeted for payback by the voting public of their respective Districts . Including Dave Codgill of Modesto, Abel Maldanado of Santa Maria and Roy Ashburn of Bakersfield among others .

            These guys plus two others signed a declaration that they would never ever raise taxes . Well they caved, and now not only are they just about guarenteed not to win reelection ,citizens are even drawing up recall notices for the Sacramento Six . This was In the California section of the LA Times today . Basically my point Is I know you are angry ,I totally feel ya on that . And It Is about fuckin time you were ! I have said for years tht Americas biggest problem was Its apathy . Well you are not apathetic anymore are you ?

             I want you to use that anger constructively ,and strike some fear In the hearts of your congressperson and your Senator .And the best way you can do that Is to quit standing Idly buy and doing nothing ,they count on that !

               Again call them up and spew your venom ,let them know where you stand now that you are finally paying attention . Give them the Sacramento six treatment you scare the powerful by removing them from their comftorable perches ! And vote out all Incumbents ,they dug this hole so why should you give them a chance to do more damage ? Put some fear In your Government because In case you forgot they work for us , we do not work for them !

            At some point I will find my sense of humor again ,right now It Is In short supply . And I also have to go check how I am doing In my standings on the tournament pool .  I will be back to spew In the near future I am sure I just had to get that off my chest !
