The most common cause of cough is a cold and flu. These viruses inflame and irritate the upper respiratory tract and most often produce mucus. Your recipes sound yummy and afordable. Seeing I didn't have any of these items in my cupboard tonight...I used one garlic clove minced, one habenero pepper minced, spread on buttered bread. Really wakes up the senses.
