There is currently TV advertisements for a Mobile Phone Application called "Partner Tracker". The advertising suggests that you can purchase this Application for your Mobile Phone, and find out if your partner is cheating!

Like somehow your mobile phone can trace where your partner's mobile phone is so that you can find out where your partner is at any given time and can monitor their movements!

In the fine print (which may show up quite smalll on a TV Screen if you're watching from some distance) it actually states that this Application is for "entertainment purposes" only. It is simply a novelty. It does not infact give out true co-ordinations, and no, you can't trace your partner by purchasing the 'Partner Tracker' for your phone. Which may be quite disappointing for some!

However, I assume it could at best give your partner a 'scare' if they knew you had this Application on your mobile phone (especially if they were actually involved in an affair).

There are other similar applications which don't actually do what you dream they might do when you see the TV advertisements, for example the "Nude Viewer" Application. The advertisement for this application seems to imply that if you purchase it your mobile phone will become some sort of Xray Device where you will be able to see "your friends nude", however again, it's a novely 'entertainment' application, which doesn't actually do this (and this is also found in the fine print in the advertisements)...

I hope too many people don't feel scammed if they purchase these products without reading the fine print!
