Last week a friend of mind got a road accident along the way back home on the tiny road across the other side of the bridge of chroy changva. His nephew was the one who drove his car. When they come closer to the bridge then accidentally he hit the car in front of his car. Because the road was very tiny and has many car at the front and behind them. 

During the accident both sides came to a talk to solve problem of the accident. And it took them a few hours to deal with this issue. While they were talking there were 2 police truck came involve solving this issue. There were about 10 polices and they wanted to take the car to the police station and solve the problem later on. 

But because of the 2 parties agreed to solve the problem at the accident location then my friend has to pay the other party where his nephew hit them in the amount of $77 which is not bad though. 

However, his car was badly damaged of the water tank and the engine of his car. Now he keep it at the garage waiting for the repairmen to fix it for him. And he and his nephew are the one who pay for this damage. It was because of their fault too. 

My friend also mentioned that he tried to call the insurance company at that time of road accident for the claim of accident at time. But the insurance guys who supposed to answer the phone said because that was on Pchum Ben day and nobody was working, plus the phone has no battery that was why my friend couldn't get through. 

So the next day, he came to the company to report about this road accident. Very frustrated feeling came upon him because the insurance company said because the insurance coverage that he bought only cover the third party injury, but not for him and his car. It sounds like what! The chat was going on for awhile but he still has to pay for his own car fixing and accident. There were no claim made for this accident. 

As experienced he said he will look for better insurance for his car and not to just go without going through the detail anymore for the next one. 

In conclusion, he has to pay for all the cost of his car fixing. It was about $400 to $500 to cover all the fixing cost with his personal injury. So before buying insurance you have to look carefully what the insurance company offer.
