2008 Presidential Campaign Contributions
59Introduction
So, we know that one of the biggest problems with all the corporations that I talk about in my hubs is that, ALL of them give money to big politics and then, no matter WHO wins the election... They ALL get their way. As far as I can see there are only two candidates who are REALLY measuring up as half decent with regards to their corporate campaign contributions they've received.
Obama vs. Paul
Now, mostly I've provided this consolidated info for your convenience, but I feel compelled to share my choice and the reasons I have. In my opinion as you will see herein... Though Ron Paul takes way less corporate contributions than Obama, and Clinton... Dr. Ron Paul, who is an OBGYN, that's a gynecologist, also has a 100% pro-life voting record with NARAL. Therefore, my personal choice is for Obama. Based on the following points: civil rights, pro-choice, pro-legalization, anti-war, anti-corporations (or so he says).... As I noted above, they all get money from the same places (except that one KINDA cool but unfortunately PRO-LIFE guy Ron Paul...who seems to get his from the military mostly)... So, my pick is for Obama.. as he seems to be the most likely candidate to "pull a Kennedy" as I like to say.... as well as being the MOST distantly related to the rest of these men that seek to control the entire world.
All of that being taken into consideration, please use the following links to visit a site called opensecrets.org and navigate and learn about various campaign financing for this year's election!! Enjoy!!

Good hub. Very interesting. Edwards is my first choice, then Obama. Clinton's vote in favor of the Kyl-Lieberman bill on Iran was the straw that broke the camel's bacl for me. She's too hawkish on foreign policy for me and a bit too conservative on domestic policy.
