I recently purchased a 1 cup coffee maker. I drink coffee every day usually more than one cup. My wife does not drink coffee, but sometimes likes tea. I used to make a pot of coffee every morning, but I ended up spilling half of it out. Sometimes I would make a second pot so I could have a fresh cup. One day I was at a client's office, and I was offered a cup of coffee, and to my amazement it was one of the best cups of coffee I had ever had. I asked what kind it was, and I was told that it wasn't so much the coffee, as it was the single serving coffee machine.

I started shopping around for a one cup coffee maker, and learned that they were designed to make a better cup by controlling the temperature and the length of the brewing time. I always knew that using filtered water had a big effect, now I was looking at having a coffee maker that adjusted itself to whatever kind of coffee I wanted. Not only that, it made tea, and hot chocolate, not to mention espresso, lattes and cappuccino. 

We still have the old drip machine for company, but as soon as they see the 1 cup coffee maker, everyone wants to try it. And why not with the variety of coffees and teas, everyone can have just what they want.
