Improve your life by changing the way you think and see things. We think a certain way then the mind will realize it, repeat, you acted out, and then you live it. I use to think it was me, it’s the culture and thought I had no issues with my thoughts and that I was perfect. While all the time I was constantly hearing myself inside my mind with these negative thoughts and constantly beating my mind. And of course negative thoughts are much easier to believe than pure good thoughts so the negative thoughts stick longer and harder to remove.
Well, let me tell you, that all changed. This was the beginning of my path and adventure. I have always enjoyed reading, learning and researching and learning how our wonderful brain works. While doing this I came upon a wonderful book that spoke about my feelings, it certainly opened up my mind and gave me a clear picture. Most important that we have to protect our minds from our ourselves or better yet our thinking. Like the old fraise “You are what you eat,” the same for “you become what you think”. This wonderful book has taught me about why I feel the way I feel, and understand that it was not just only me but others. I started to research and now have an understanding of who and how important of a human being I am.
We all have something in our lives that hold us back. First our brains are built to record in our subconscious, then it will use it to replay back to us. For example if you hear; “you are useless, you are fat, you will never amount to anything good”, these comments are recorded and you will hear, feel and believe them. This also happens when you watch negative information such as the news, horror movies and music this all sticks to your mind and the more you feed your mind with it the more it will make you feel down.
First you need to realize that you need to make a change, that there are areas in your mind and self that need correcting or cleaning out. Once you open your mind to accept the change you are free to began. On a daily basis you must reassure your mind of wonderful affirmations to began the process to challenge those negative thoughts. You must do this constantly as to erase the negativity flowing in your mind. When you think of a negative thought right away catch yourself and feed it with a good positive affirmation. This is not just repeating words or mumbling sayings, this is feeding your mind subliminal. You can also sing your affirmations it will stick even more, the same way you learn songs you like to sing. The mind is more accepting to this technique. The more you do it the easier it gets, but you must believe in it, and when saying it use the present tense. Began to monitor the things you feed your brain, instead of watching depressing movies and having negative people around change those areas.
Second learn to enjoy yourself, to entertain yourself without having to need someone to be with you. The days you don’t feel good or do not want to leave the house, that’s the time you must leave the house. Get yourself ready take a soothing shower put on some nice clothes and go out make yourself and began to feel good by telling yourself “I deserve to be happy, I deserve to enjoy life, I deserve to see beautiful things” and so forth and you will began to see the difference. Feel good. Instead of hanging around the wrong crowd say to yourself “I attract good motivated people, I am happy, and I attract happy people”.
Third wonderful way to remember your affirmations is to write them down, put them on sticky pads post them on your computer monitor or your refrigerator and put them on 3x5 cards to carry with you so every where you turn you will see them (its a visual thing) so you are hitting your mind by all directions.
Most important once you begin this process you realize YOU are on an adventure, a journey, to find who you really are and realize you are loved and have much love to give. You are healing yourself by changing the way you think.
