64Indian Laptops will be available for very cheap rates. Yes it will cost only an unbelieveable 500 Rs, which equals to as low as 10 Dollars. This is really amazing. The whole world of technology is surprised to hear this news.
2GB memory, WiFi, Ethernet, add on memory are the special features of this laptop. Only 2W power is needed for this computer. This computer will not be using the Windows Software, it will use Linux based GUI in it.
This low cost notebook is aimed at providing help to students in India. The government plans to produce the computers in large scale which will help them to supply them at this much lower price. Mostly the people and students in rural parts of India will eb getting their hands on this lap top.
The laptop has been developed by students from Vellore Institute of Technology, scientists in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and IIT Madras with the help of companies like Semiconductor Complex and this product will be displayed in Tirupati on 3rd February during the inauguration of National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology.

Sorry to say that it has been confirmed that this product will not be available in market and it is not really a computer. It has all been a misunderstanding that is now stated by the technicians.
