Organic Products
Okay, so I was asked to talk about my 10 favorite organic beauty picks so here they are! I'm definitely a hair person and believe that a person's hairstyle and hair can change their overall appearence so I'll start with that.
I love these 2 lines: Aveda and Aquage ~ from their packaging to their aromas and texture and of course ingredients, they'll leave you feeling very refreshed, healthy, and connected to mother Earth.
1. Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam: patented formula-which includes certified organic honey, burdock and marshmallow root-creates weightless volume on fine and medium hair. Adds shine without build-up or weight. Uses air-infused technology.
2. Aquage: From a hairstylist and image consultant, their products are must have's. They are light and use organic seaweed and sea salts in their products and their Aquage SeaExtend Silkening Shampoo and Conditioner was named Stylist Choice 2008. Even their packaging is very calming and eco-friendly.
Now moving onto skincare, because once people notice your hair, the next thing that they notice is your skin! Now I like this line and it's eco-friendly so I'll walk you through the skin routine.
Burt's Bees: Skin Care Products items 3 to 8.
3. Orange Essence Facial Cleanser~ a simple and gentle cleanser that will leave you feeling fresh and light.
4. Citrus Facial Scrub
Very Refreshing, made of orange and grapefruit peel oils. Use weekly or every other day for more oily complexions.
5. Carrot Nutritive Day Creme: Carrot Seed Oil - This thin, yellow oil distilled from ground seeds is rich in Beta-Carotene and is valued for its soothing, relaxing properties~ for younger looking skin!
6. Naturally Ageless Skin Firming Night Creme: Pomegranate Extract - Pomegranate fruit extract, from the tree Punica granatum, contains several polyphenols and anthocyanidins which are highly antioxidant, protecting hair and skin
7. Naturally Ageless Line Smoothing Eye Creme: Also has pomegranate extract like product above. Use at night for long lasting effects.
8. Don't forget your SPF! Chemical-Free Sunscreen SPF 30

9. Body Wash...Jujube Rejuvenist Amino Body Wash
You can get it at Sephora's and online..
Jujube fruit encourages healthy cell rejuvenation and a strengthening of the skin for a smoother, firmer appearance. Protect your body against aging with organic jojoba leaf and green tea; also a natural deodorant. Light and foamy, smells great too!
And finally, for MIND & BODY Beauty... we all need some relaxation to maintain a healthy glow and energy!
10. Crabtree & Evelyn Natural Earth Candles: energizing essential oils of lemon and spearmint with sweet orange, clove and pettigrain. Made with the greatest blends of earthy and natural scents to calm and connect you.
So after writing this, I realize how much more there is out there for the organic and eco-friendly consumer, so there will definitely be more to come for all of you beauty and earth lovers :)

Hi! Thanks for the comment. As for the prices... surprisingly Burt's Bee's products are very affordable all of the products I've listed are between $8-25 and the most expensive is the eye cream. As for the rest, they are also not too expensive~ Aquage items are on the pricier side but if you go online and search you can get great discounts. And I will soon post some more info. regarding making your own products which is very inexpensive! Stay tuned :)
This is good useful information and great hub, thanks!
If you know me you know that I only do organic. I have been modeling for sometime now and never resort to putting crap on my face. These are my top 10 favourite remedies.
1. Egg yolk. Beat one Egg yolk and put it on your face, it leaves your face looking radiant and feels absolutely amazing.
2. Honey. Everyone assumes that honey makes your face sticky and this is completely untrue, it's easy to apply and it tightens the skin, I do this atleast twice a week to keep my skin tight, my theory is if I start doing anti aging rememdies now then i won't age.
3. Brown Sugar and olive oil. Makes a great scrub, not too rough and leaves the skin silky feeling and 100% moisturized.
4. Tea Tree Oil - amazing for blemishes
5. Oregano Oil is great for cold sores or any abrasions
6. Camomile Tea is great for everything, especially for
women. Cleanse your lower regions every bath time to
leave you feeling fresh.
7. Lemon Juice - Great for sun kissed hair, put some fresh
lemon juice in a spray bottle with about two ounces of
water, this will lighten your hair.
8. Milk - Milk is a great face wash, keeps the skin
youthful
9. Berries - Can be used as blush. For women that don't
usually wear make up, natural berry juices are a great
start. Crush some berries and dip your fingers in it
doing circular motions rub on apples of your cheeks.
Boyfriends love this as it has a sweet taste.
10.Mayo - Get a cup of mayo and while your hair is
Completely dry brush it in or throw it on top and rub
into hair, this makes hair strong and moisturized for
people with extremely dry hair, the smell doesn't
last, once you've left it in for about 20 minutes,
rinse the hair, and put a dime size of your favouite
conditioner in your hair without washing it out.
I have done all these remedies and swear by them, some seem very far fetched, but what do you think women did hundreds of years ago, they didn't have beauty salons.

Great list! I saw this Hub request and realized I know nothing about organic beauty products! Do you have price estimates on these products?
