Anyone interested in improving your business exponentially?

Do you want to make more profits without spending a huge money for advertisement budget?

Yes. it is possible to do it by creating a customer Email-list. A simple formula to expand your business is to build a customer Email-list to retain your faithful customers and also to get new customers. An Email-list of customers is a powerful marketing tool that you cannot afford to ignore. Whether you own a business in the street corner or in a biggest shopping mall or just somewhere on the web (space), you need to learn all these secrets.

Here are 10 good reasons to support why you need a Customer Email List if you are serious about your business growth.

  1. Hey, like you I hate spam emails too: How do you advertise your business? Billboards (too expensive), Newspaper Ads (I never look for an ad unless you give me a free money), Google Ads (as if I would click them), unsolicited newsletters / emails (give me a break). You see there is a problem with these type of ads. You just bombard your potential customers with a "buy-it-now" type of offers. Well, I hate such offers as much as you do. When you ask for an email at the check-out to send-out special discount coupons, birthday wishes and the sale-specials, I would be more incline to sign-in for it. In other words, I give permission to market your products to me. This is what Seth Godin referred as "Permission Marketing". With such an email-list, you directly reach your customers who are already visited your store. They would love your emails instead of hating them.
  2. You forgot me, did you: It happens that we forget friends when things get too busy. But, think of your customers. When did you sent a birthday-note to one of your customer last time? In this information age, communication should've improved much better. Nah, still no one cares to send a birthday note or a thank-you note. With an email-list of your customers, you can send a special-sale for your customer on his/her birthday.
  3. And the best salesperson of the year goes to: one of your loyal customer. You will agree with me when I say this: a happy customer is the one who brings more business and new customers to you. When a customer tells a good-word about your business to his/her friend or a relative, it beats all the barriers. Immediately, you have gained a new customer without spending a penny. Imagine if one of your customer forwards your special newsletter to his/her friends with a note "Check it out". People will surely will check out, as they have received it from one of their loved ones. That's the power of Viral Marketing.
  4. People love freebies: Who doesn't love freebies? Of course, the freebie that you provide should be valuable. Offer best tips or advice to help your customers, they will keep you in their memory. How do you do that? Send out weekly/monthly/occasional newsletters with very good resources. Offer them something free and ask them to come and collect them at your store. When you offer something free to a person, they are obligated to buy something from you. It is a natural law. Send free newsletters to your email-subscribers.
  5. Instant-reach: While the other forms of an advertisements may go un-noticed, a targeted email goes right into your customer's inbox with their name (better, be their nickname) written on it. Instantly, you can announce your customers about the last-minute sales that you planned. That's the power of an email list.
  6. Build a trust with your customers: When you keep sending such regular updates and newsletters, you show them that you are interested in sharing your life story. You are continuously building a rapport with your customers. You can easily announce your new business venture through this email-list, and each one of your subscriber will think of at least 3 of their friends who might be interested in your new business. Talk about "Mass advertising", this is it.
  7. Cheapest but the BEST: It doesn't cost a fortune to maintain an email-auto responder software. You can set automated email deliveries, reminders and newsletters scheduled for special dates in advance. It would cost less than $20 to maintain such a list. I am sure I cannot think of any other form of advertisement channel that is so cheap but provides so much value as this one. Can you?

Now, I have convinced you that you need an email-list to expand your business and make more sales. But, how do you go about doing it? Your email-provider such as Hotmail or Gmail won't allow you to send an email to 1000's of your customers on a single day. You can not automate things. You can not track your emails or cannot control. measure the feedback.

We have special email-management programmes available for that purpose. They are easy to manage (just like pressing few buttons on TV remote) and inexpensive to buy. I am going to talk about the best of such programme in the next section. Stay tuned.

What is an email auto-responder? What it will do to improve your business? How will it increase your customers?

An email-auto responder is an email program that will maintain all your customer details such as Name, Nickname, Email-id, Phone number, Address etc. You can set this program to send out emails, newsletters to all your customers at a prescribed date in advance. You can track what your customers click, to whom they forward your emails and how many don't open or don't click and so on. With most of the email programmes, you can start with 1 subscriber and build up to 10,000 customers. You can send them an email all at once. There are many programs available over the internet, but I am going to introduce to the very best of the available softwares.

It is Aweber, the best in the pack, an email auto-responder that has all the necessary things to track your email marketing campaigns and very simple interface. Even a student of Standard 5, would be able to easily operate this software. It costs just $19 a month to maintain a subscriber base of 2500, you can pay little more when your customer base expands. It helps to create the following very easily.

  • Email Newsletters with Professional Designs
  • Website Signup Forms that your customers can forward
  • Auto responders so you need not even look at the software
  • Unlimited Campaigns so you can expand beyond your current business
  • HTML Email Templates so you don't need to worry about coding
  • Email Deliverability is precise and do not end up in Bulk/Spam folder
  • Blog Newsletters so you can keep your readers hooked to your blog
  • Email Web Analytics so you can track every click precisely
  • Subscriber Management to clean-up your customer base
  • Expert Customer Support so your business wont get affected not even for few minutes

I am a happy customer who is using it to send out newsletters (I am planning a newsletter for my hubpages writers too), it is such an easy-to-operate software and I am already seeing the benefits of making the right choice. You can know more about the software at this page Features of Aweber.Aweber will help you to expand your customer base or subscriber base even if you dont own a business. Think of a fan base for your blog. Think creatively.

Good luck and do NOT forget the power of a Customer Email List. This is my way of thanking Awebber for helping me to expand my business.

This hubpage was brought you by yet another word-of-mouth marketing by a happy Aweber customer.

I have been reluctant to build squeeze lists because of the spam potential but all in all I think you are right and if you are sending information to people who are interested in the subject then it is not a problem.
