One day while browsing through Yahoo Answers, I noticed hundreds of questions from people who were seeking online employment. Unforunately, these people did not receive quality answers and received responses like "Work from home jobs do not exist" and "They're all scams". They even received links to paid survey sites, mlm schemes, and home based businesses such as Avon or Labella Baskets. There's nothing wrong with paid surveys, or Avon but these are not online jobs and shouldn't be advertised as such. After noticing such a high demand for online employment, I made it my mission to help others seek legit online jobs. For your convenience, take advantage of this list of 10 Trustworthy Online Employers:


1. Dell- Dell hires individuals in many fields to work online. Some positions include Technical Consultants, Windows 7 Consultants, and Virtualization Sales Specialists. When searching for available remote positions at Dell, include the keywords "remote position" or "home based" in the keyword search.

2. 1800FLOWERS- 1800flowers.com will occasionally hire customer service reps to work for their Work From Home Customer Service Team. This company starts recruiting individuals during holidays such as Mother's Day. Father's Day, Easter, and Christmas. In order to be considered for employment, applicants must be a residents in any of these following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, or Oregon .

3. Hewlett Packard- recruits "Technology Consultants" and other specialists to work virtually from home. Type in "work from home" is the website's keyword search and you should be able to find various telecommute positions in many fields.

4. Hertz- Hertz car rental company is employing candidates to join their reservations team. Potential employees must attend training in Mobile Alabama and positions are available to residents of the United States and Canada.

5. U-haul- offers online employment opportunities in various states. Some positions include E-Hotline Agents and E-Sales & Reservations. Uhaul has an excellent benefits package which includes: Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Paid Holidays, Discounts, Educational Assistance, and 401K.

6. Staples- This well known Office Superstore hires online customer service representatives to answer inbound calls and respond to customer related inquiries. The starting pay is $9.05 per hour and an extensive benefits package is available after 90 days of employment with this company.

7. HSN ( Home Shopping Network)- HSN offers employment from home to residents of Roanoke Virginia, St. Petersburg Florida, and Nashville Tennessee. Customer Care Representatives for HSN are repsonsible for answering inbound calls and completing sales transactions. HSN also offers benefits such as paid training, paid time off, and employee discounts.

8. Jet Blue Airways- Jet Blue generally hires individuals to work online as part of their reservations crew. Potential employees will be required to speak English and Spanish fluently and have at least 2 years of prior customer service experience. This company offers a great benefits package which include free or reduced travel, 401K, medical, dental, and more.

9. Dion Data Solutions- Outsources their work to home contracted vendors. Home Contracted Vendors are responsible for performing data entry tasks. Contractors are not employees so keep in mind that there aren't any benefits package as a contractor. Vendors are also responsible for filing their own taxes.

10. Hilton Hotels- Hilton employs residents of Dallas Texas, and Tampa Florida to work at home as a Reservation Sales Specialist. Employees for their at home employments must obtain excellent telephone communications, and customer service skills. RSS are paid hourly and will be paid for training (if hired).
