It always feels great when I hear how proud some children are of there father, that is a key to realizing how happy this man is being a father. We cared for children in a daycare setting and believe me, I heard everything that went on at home, and I do mean, "everything" (smiling).

1. He is the "Apple of Your Eye"

I have a friend 46 years old and still her dad is the apple of her eye. She always talks about, my father waited for me after school to hear about my day, etc. and you can actually still see the excitement on her face.

2. He helps with homework

When your a kid, your father is the smartest man on earth, even if he has been out of school for 25 years!

3. He is there for every event (baseball, football, soccer, dance recitals, father daughter dances, etc).

I Know a single father raising his daughter starting from the age of 12 year old alone, he did not miss one event during her years in elementary, middle and high school, even when she was in college. This helps build a very strong relationship with your child.

4. He is calling everyday, even while on business trips

5. He communicates

When a man can sit and talk to a child about there day, what's going on in there life......I feel a child will always be a great communicator, because you have allowed them to talk about whatever is making them happy, as well as sad.

6. Hobbies that include the child

My cousin loves to fish! Every Saturday morning Jay and his son knew it was there day to bond and enjoy catching fish, talking, laughing, etc.

7. He teaches you how to drive.

8. He teaches additional skills that could possibly be your financial future, example: painting houses, repairing cars, building websites, etc.
