These are the 10 worst rides and attractions at Disney World. Not all are considered bad for the same reason, but all have major faults.

• Swiss Family Treehouse: Walk up six flights of stairs up a cement tree to see extremely uninteresting exhibits such as the bucket pulling system used to get water.
  

• Stitch's Great Escape: In this attraction, Stitch escapes from his holding cell and runs through the audience belching. This is even more unwatchable then the terrible ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter that it replaced. It's not funny; it's not scary. I'm not sure what purpose it serves.
  

• Tomorrowland's Indy Speedway: One of Disney's original rides, you ride along a guided track at thrilling speeds of 7.5 mph.  It might not be so bad if it weren't for the always ridiculously long lines.  The line also forms completely out in the open so guests get no relief from the hot Florida sun.
  
  

• Carousel of Progress: This attraction is also a Disney staple, but it is in need of major reconstruction.  The last time this ride was updated was 15 years ago, making the "progress" shown mostly outdated.  The animatronics are pretty weak, not to mention the show is usually not even open.
  

• Walt Disney Railroad: The train ride isn't all bad.  It's pretty relaxing and a good way to kick up yur heels and cool-off.  However, you don't get a chance to see anything because the train tracks run behind a forest.  What could have been a great opportunity to show off the park from a different angle, ended up showing people sets specially created so guests could see something.
  

• The Great Movie Ride: This ride was really awesome in it's day and it is a tremendous concept, but it needs to be more updated than any other ride at Disney.  The sets are falling apart, it's filled with movies that were new when it was developed but pretty culturally insignificant now, and let's face it, the castmembers who run it aren't even trying anymore.
  

• Maelstrom: Another Disney ride that has unexplainable long lines.  Located in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, this ride has poor lighting, animatronics, sets, etc. etc.  There is also a random polar bear, which still isn't enough to make this ride interesting.
  
  

• The American Adventure: The best attraction Disney could have come up with for the pavilion of their home country was a history play? Lame.
  

• Universe of Energy: Learn about energy or something like that with Ellen, Bill Nye, Jamie Lee Curtis and Alex Trebek. The 6 minute "pre-show gives false hope that something exciting will be waiting for guests when the doors to the real attraction open. It doesn't. This "ride" is good for one thing--napping.
  

• Soarin: The lines are way too long for what it is and if you seated anywhere but in the middle the experience is greatly diminished by being able to see the ground, ceiling or sides of the theater.
