10 best non fiction books
63
Here is a list of 10 best non fiction books in the 20th century. The list is not from any credible source, that is, if you do not consider me credible enough. I do not claim to have read them all, but I did read some of them. The rest of them have been selected after a careful review of various lists published by different sources and taking into account the respective credibility of those sources. Of course I have taken liberty at ranking the books as per my own understanding.
I INVITE COMMENTS, ARGUMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS ON WHY OR WHY NOT A PARTICULAR BOOK SHOULD BE IN THIS LIST.

Julie, will surely go through your hub. Why dont you do a fiction list. I will also come up with mine. Lets compare. :)
I'v already been writing the fiction list in my mind. Look for it soon. Thanks, Stooge
Hello Stooge its me again, I do read books but I never read any of these. I would like the lives of a cell, the second world war since my father was in that one, black lamb and grey falcon and finger prints of the GODs all sound interesting! I usually read self help books, on how to succeed, become healthier, psycology, the study of the planets and stars but mostly the Bible! Reading different books opens your mind to different views of other peoples opinions and knowledge. I like that! Thanks!

Thanks Stooge for joining my fan club. I will be writing another hub on writing shortly, check it out if you get a chance.
As for your list, yes, Silent Springs is considered an important book to read. The Virginia Woolf book has also been recommended to me on many occasions, and one of these days, I will get around to reading it.
The topic nonfiction is so big and covers so many areas, I think it would be nearly impossible for me personally to identify a top ten! I might be able to do it for fiction, though. (and I just might!)
