Men and women work for various reasons, the main ones being:

1. to make money (to secure food and shelter)

2. to kill boredom

3. to interact with the world

4. to learn skills

5. to climb the social ladder

6. for recognition

7. for the satisfaction the completed tasks bring

8. to forget about their other worries

9. to help others

10. to change something in this world

For most of these reasons, a job used to be the perfect answer. However, seasons have changed. Now there are countless alternatives. Working from home is feasible to many individuals. Starting your own business is harder, but not impossible. For those established in their fields, switching from employment to self-employment is relatively easy. Therefore, for many of us, we would in fact need a good reasons not to quit our jobs. Here is the list of my top ten.

1. your spouse is home all day (you might end up trying to murder each other).

2. your teenage children are home all day (you might end up trying to murder them).

3. your neighbor's gorgeous spouse is home all day and you are married (that might get you into serious trouble).

4. your in-laws live around the block (that's more than obvious)

5. you haven't got a clue what to do next while on the job and you still haven't got a clue what to do next after you have quited.

6. you can't find the "power-on" key on your computer.

7. you think "vista" is a credit card, "tablet" is a pill and "SEO" is the deputy to the "CEO".

8. you work in one of the five biggest American banks (don't miss the golden handshake which should be coming any time).

9. you never go to your office even when you are on the job.

10. if your first name is Hilary, and you are a famous Clinton.
