100 Great Dance Music Videos from the 2000's (#80-#76)
75The following 100 dance music videos of the 2000's are in absolutely no way a comprehensive representation of all the great club hits of the decade. Most club hits did not have music videos, or the video does not feature the dance mix. Also, this is not a critic's list. It's all in fun and there are plenty of cheesy videos on the list. But hopefully the casual pop music fan may be introduced to some of the music they missed, and the card-carrying members of the club community can experience some guilty pleasures and a little nostalgia.

The Knife is Swedish electropop duo of siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer. "Silent Shout" was the lead single and title track from their third album in 2006. The album and single were an international success, both critically and commercially. Pitchfork Media named the album the top album of 2006 and ranked the single at #2. Andersson released her debut solo album in 2009 under the name Fever Ray.
Cool fact: The Knife won a 2003 Swedish Grammis Award for best pop group in 2003, but they boycotted the ceremony by sending representatives dressed as gorillas to protest against male dominance in the music industry.

#76 The Crystal Method- "Name of the Game"
Tweekend was Los Angeles electronic dance duo The Crystal Method's 2001 follow-up to the 1997 Platinum certified album, Vegas. The title of the album refers to the demise of the West Coast rave scene in the late 1990's. The lead single, "Name of the Game" reached #5 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and propelled Tweekend to #32 on the Billboard 200 album chart. "Name of the Game" was licensed to several movies, tv shows and commercials including the film, Tropic Thunder. The Crystal Method's success continued with 2004's Legion of Boom and 2009's Divided by Night.
Cool fact: Despite the massive popularity of "Name of the Game", The Crystal Method rarely perform it live.
