The following 100 dance music videos of the 2000's are in absolutely no way a comprehensive representation of all the great club hits of the decade. Most club hits did not have music videos, or the video does not feature the dance mix. Also, this is not a critic's list. It's all in fun and there are plenty of cheesy videos on the list. But hopefully the casual pop music fan may be introduced to some of the music they missed, and the card-carrying members of the club community can experience some guilty pleasures and a little nostalgia.

York is comprised of brothers Torsten and Jorg Stenzel. Their second hit, following 1999's "The Awakening", was "On the Beach". It hit #4 on the UK charts in 2000.

Cool fact: Torsten still records today as York, as well as producing artists such as Dido.

"Day 'n' Nite" was the debut single by Cleveland hip hop artist Kid Cudi. It was originally released in February of 2008, but a Crookers remix gained popularity over the following summer and became more popular than the original version. The remixed version peaked at #2 in the UK on January of 2009. His debut album, The Man on the Moon: The Guardians, is scheduled for release in the summer of 2009.

Cool fact: On March 16, Kid Cudi announced that he was going to retire after the release of his first album. He reversed his decision three days later.

In 2002, UK electronic band Ladytron scored a hit with electroclash-inspired single, "Seventeen," from their second album, Lights & Magic. Their success continued throughout the decade with 2005's Witching Hour and 2008's Velocifero.

Cool fact: Ladytron is working with Christina Aguilera on her upcoming album.

Safri Duo is a Danish percussion duo who scored a huge summer European smash hit with "Played Alive (The Bongo Song)" from the album, Episode II, in the summer of 2001. "Played Alive" was the fourth fastest selling single ever in Europe and hit #1 in Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland and Netherlands. Safri Duo were highly esteemed classical musicians before achieving mainstream success with dance music.

Cool fact: Safri Duo have now returned to their classical roots, with their latest album, Origins.

 Swedish DJ Stonebridge and singer Therese teamed up in 2004 for the worldwide dance hit, "Put "Em High". The single peaked at #6 in the UK. They followed with the #9 hit, "Take Me Away". In late 2004, Therese broke out on her own with the club hit, "Time".

Cool fact: Therese competed for the Swedish qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 with her band, Drömhus, but came in second place.
