dude, it's so weird and there are levels and levels and levels, like most of cronenberg's work. it came off to me more as a statement on his inner approach to life, than as anything else.
he makes an interesting statement on one level about technology, bizarrely ties it to sexuality and underlying it all is hints of the gaps in modern society regarding how people view and treat others.
it's an amazing thing.
have you seen his schizopolis? it's a thing of beauty. so weird, kind of like a pre Run Lola Run in a way, three versions of the same event. language changes, totally bizarre. it's my personal fav of what he's directed.
Good NEWS I was on Netflix and I have the Movie TRUST in in queue but it is not available for rental HOWEVER it has a little play button on it so I can WATCH IT INSTANTLY if I want to.
Amazing.
Haven't seen schizopolis yet.
Wow, not one comment in three months. Hopefully the photos will help.
City of God is missing. Best movie of 2000s. Blood Diamond, Traffic, Munich should all be way higher.
Thanks for that! I fixed it.
no gladiator! wtf
Amelie?
