#1 The Economy - John McCain's economic policies closely resemble those of George W. Bush. Barack Obama's economic policies closely resemble those of Bill Clinton. In a lot of ways that says it all. We've tried the Republican "trickle down" economics theory over the last eight years and we know all know that it does not work.

#2 Taxes - Almost everyone reading this article will have lower taxes with Barack Obama as President than with John McCain. While McCain's tax plan only benefits corporations and the very wealthy, Obama's tax plan targets the middle class for tax relief.

If your family makes more than a quarter million dollars a year then yes, you will be taxed more with Obama than with McCain. But I'll make a wild guess and say that you make less than that. If you make less than that then Obama will give you a bigger tax cut.

#3 Health Care - John McCain's health care plan would be a disaster for most Americans. Experts believe that as many as 20 million Americans will lose their health insurance under McCain's plan. On the other hand Obama's health care plan will help more people get covered at a lower cost. With Obama's plan all children will have health care coverage. This is not the case under McCain's plan.

#4 The Iraq War - Barack Obama has been right on the Iraq war from the start while John McCain has been wrong. This is proof positive that Obama has the necessary judgment to be Commander In Chief while McCain does not.

The Iraq War costs America $10 billion a month. Obama will end the war in Iraq so that we can bring home our troops and so that we can stop wasting all of that tax payer money in a war without end.

#5 Terrorism - From the start Barack Obama has insisted that the real fight against global terrorism is in Afghanistan. That's where the people that hit America on 9/11 are actually at. That's where we should have put our resources instead of in Iraq. Obama knew that six years ago, now many others are finally starting to come around. We need a leader who has foresight for a change. Barack Obama is that leader.

#6 Alternative Energy - Obama is far stronger on alternative energy than is McCain. Obama wants to really invest in America's future rather than looking to the past ("drill baby drill.") Not only will this help solve our energy problems but it will also help to end our dependence on foreign oil while simultaneously creating many new jobs and growing the economy.

#7 Supreme Court Justices - This is a very under looked factor. The next President is likely to appoint at least two Supreme Court justices during their first term as President. In my view this is one of the best reasons to support Barack Obama as I believe he will appoint the kind of justices who will help America move forward rather than backward.

#8 George W. Bush - Remember a vote for John McCain is a vote of support for George W. Bush. Remember to think of George W. Bush's smirking face when you see McCain's name on the ballot. McCain offers no major changes on any major policy from the Bush administration.

#9 Dick Cheney - Cheney endorsed McCain for President yesterday and he was "delighted" to do so. I don't think anything else needs to be said. Do you really want to be on the same side as Dick Cheney?

#10 Sarah Palin - Palin is monumentally unqualified to be President. She lacks the basic knowledge & intelligence necessary to President. She is also proof that John McCain lacks the judgment necessary to be President.
