Up to five years ago, I only use bleach to wash my white clothes; I have no ideas that I can use this same product for other things. Like so many other people who have to find ways to cut down in expenses, I start to mix some bleach with water to urgently clean my bathroom. I was amazed at how well it has done the job in my bathroom, without much effort on my part. Then I become obsessive with the ideas of using bleach for other purposes. Hence, my quest begin and I start paying closer attention to other people's ideas. Below is a collection of uses for bleach. We already buy bleach to do our laundry, so let get some uses out of what we already have on hand.

1. Mix ½ bleach and ½ water to make a cleaning solution for mild dew, stain, tub-ring, shower curtain, shower door, and around the toilette.

2. Use undiluted bleach to kill weeds, moss, and algae in your yard.

3. Mix ¼ bleach and ¾ water to use for kitchen cleaning solution. It is great to kill germs on the counter top, and stove surface.

4. Add a capful of bleach plus one sugar cube in the vase to make a mixture for your cut flower to make them last longer.

5. Shine porcelain objects using bleach to rub around the outside of your porcelain, let them sit for ½ hour, then rise them out, and towel dry them.

6. Brighten glass wear by adding ¼ bleach in your warm soapy water, let them sit for 15 minutes, then wash them as usual.

7. Clean plastic lawn furniture by mixing ½ bleach and ½ water in a spraying bottle and spray them down, then rise.

8. Cure poison ivy by wipe the bleach over the affected area, and it will dry up.

9. Cure smelly feet by mixing 1 part of bleach with 3 part of hot water, soak for 10 minutes, and dry with a hair dryer.

10. Sore throat relief by mixing 2-3 drops of bleach with a 16 oz of warm water, then gargle until the glass is empty.

These are just the few tips that I collect for my own usage regularly at home. Sometimes living in a desperate situation brings out the creativities in all of us. I save money by just using bleach and water mixture for all my cleaning purposes. It gave me a sense of safety knowing that I am not using chemical in my house and around my environment.

when our calves are sick we put a capful of bleach in with their milk. they don't die from drinking a small amount of bleach, it kills the bacteria or germs inside. Been doing that for years.

You can also use bleach to cure, " Tinnia '' as it is a fungas based infection, use a cotton tip to rub in between toes to kill fungas, once or twice should be gone, you can water it down, but hay why bother its just diluting the killing of fungas.

Ps: I work on a wet brick saw for six months with wet feet everyday, and yes I had gumboots, a raincoat, etc but the fine mist would seap through every little opening. I asked an old brickie after two months with tinnia what gets rid of it. Bleach mate, bleach it kills the fungas or somfing. Never had Tinnia for the next four months bleach on my toes every afternoon, no worries mate.

Good luck
