CBSE means the Central Board of Secondary Education in India. This board administers the Class 10^th examinations and Class 12the examination each year which are also commonly known as the board examinations. The major point to note is that this has become the most common defacto standard for all the schools within the country. There is also the ICSE which does the same function as the CBSE but CBSE has now become more recognized than ICSE.
