I wrote about my very special friend some time ago. I decided it is time for an update. We still talk everyday and he is still a vital part of my life. I have gone to see him again. It was a simple couple of days, just quiet time together. And yes, he still takes my breath away.

He has always listened to my thoughts, ideas, concerns as well as my worries. I have found it is time for me to listen to him now. He is facing some pretty rough waters ahead and I hope that I can be to him all he has been to me. I realize that there will be times when there is really nothing I can say to make things easier for him. I will listen with an open mind and most definitely an open heart.

I now have the opportunity to be able to give back to him. He doesn't get much of that, and I believe that he needs that. I believe that everyone needs someone to be there for them and I will do my very best to fill that need for him. I understand his circumstances and will be patient with him.

He is a very special person and I hope that I will be able to help him see how truly special he is. Sometimes, it only takes one person to care to help someone get through a hard time. I want to be that one person that cares to help him. He needs encouragement and moral support.

Relationships are funny like that. It is always give and take between two people. When I was afraid of major changes in my life, he was there for me and still is. He believes in me and I believe in him. He is simply an amazing person!
