Dame, 1941 Chris-Craft Runabout
Many Detroiters like to restore old cars and old boats. Dame is a 1941 ChrisCraft Runabout owned by John Wayman and John Garr. Dame is a real beauty, carefully restored to near original condition. In the pictures below she's parked for dinner at Crescent Sail Yacht Club on Lake St. Clair.
The Chris-Craft legend began in Algonac, Michigan, on the St. Clair River in 1874 when Christopher Columbus Smith built his first boat at age 13.

If you know of anyone looking for a decent restoration project I have the perfect project. I have a 1940-41 17' Custom Runabout. It was restored in 1995 and has been in storage since that time. I guess it only has 10-20 hrs since the restor. The motor was upgraded to a 120hp KLC. The eclectical is all 12V with an alternator. This boat is in good shape with no rot. Has A decent trailer.
