Yeah, I was so in love with Donny Osmond. And he still looks pretty good. I bought every Osmonds or Donny Osmond 45 single record that came out because I could only afford one song at a time. LOL
he was ok, but my big heartthrob was David Cassidy. I watched the Partridge Family religiously. I had posters of him (including the ones that used to come folded up in the albums) all over my walls.
I remember 45s too. I think we really had the good old days. Kids now are missing out, it was all so innocent and fun then.
Lol!
I used to play Donny and Marie with my neighbor as a kid. Nobody has a smile like Donny!
I preferred Shaun Cassidy over David Cassidy, though.
"I remember 45s too. I think we really had the good old days. Kids now are missing out, it was all so innocent and fun then."
Yeah, your kids could sing with the radio and not say something that would embarrass their grandparents.
Damn, I'm old. :(
What fun reminiscing, Lounn and Rogue Nestling. Wasn't the Partridge Family van cool? And I also liked David's little (half?) brother, Shaun Cassidy. Remember Da Doo Ron Ron? I had that 45, too. Ahhh, the 70s, I miss them.
WHOAHHHH!!! That was funkin awesome woman!
IMPORTANT QUESTION: EVERY TIME I read one of these I wonder what the criteria is. Are you following a billboard chart list or is this more opinion based? email me cause I need to know.
Re: the 10.
BAM BAM BAM! The first 3 are all home runs in my book and personify THAT YEAR.
SONG 4: Story - At the rehearsal dinner before my wedding I told my guests that once "I was searching for meaning in a song and so I went to the charts to find out the #1 song on the week that I was born. and it was......ONE BAD APPLE. "
The place full of Irishmen & lasses broke up laughing hysterically!
thanks for taking me back. :) Thumbs up too!
