1977 - The SarathKumar movie 2008
Sarath had no big success in Kollywood for the past few releases. His much awaited Gautam Vasudev Menon film Pachaikili Muthu Charam and the movie Vaitheeswaran that followed were both considered as moderate success according to cine reports. Although Sarath is much active in politics these days, however he's serious about giving a hit movie soon.
Sarath Kumar is recently shooting for his new flick 1977 with debutant director G.N.Dinesh Kumar. The director seems to have impressed Sarath by means of the storyline of the movie. According to the movie team, this one is going to be an action-packed film that also carries an useful message for today's society.
For the commercial part, they have 3 heroines. Among them actress Jayasudha, known for her serious roles for many years in South Indian movies plays the same kind in this movie. Namitha and Farzana take the glamor part and it's obvious that both have a nice competition about it. No doubt it's going to be a visual treat for Sarathkumar fans and general audience. Let's wait and see.
