Patience
45Patience
He has stayed all night, alone in the grass
He watches the moon, and let's the time pass
He hears the night's sound
It echoes forever
His body is still
His mind writes a letter
He awaits the sunrise
It was promised to him
He'll watch flowers blossom
And rise from their dim
And then the dawn breaks...and he fixes his eyes
On the very first flower...that was caught by surprise
He watches for hours, it becomes much past noon
Still the petals don't release
He thinks they will soon
It starts to get late, still the bud will not give
He smiles though...knowing....soon it shall live
It begins to get dark
He finds Love as his friend
His heart overflows
He'll watch tomorrow again
