2 Things you must have to build your MLM Business
56If you are going to build your MLM Business there are really only 2 things that you need
- Product/Service/Opportunity
- Prospects
The first one is a given as without a product or service to sell you are more than likely involved in an illegal pyramid scheme.
Prospects are important, as without them, you nor your downline can ever make a profit.
Now assuming you are with a legitimate company that is selling a product or service, now how do you get prospects? Let me just say there are plenty of ways that don't require mass marketing. Mass marketing is not duplicatable, so keep that in mind when you are building your MLM Business. Chances are for a new person coming into the business they will not be able to afford more than a few hundred dollars per month in advertising, so how do you get your prospects. I have made a list of things that I do to get my prospects and Have put a price tag on what I spend per month on average to do so. This is very duplicatable, and completely honest.
Pay Per Click $150 per month or approximately $5 per day
Social Networking (Facebook, MySpace, Betternetworker, and Direct Matches) $20 a month (I spend that on directmatches, which covers all my advertising costs)
Blogging - Free (Video Blogging and written blogs, 1 or 2 per week on average)
Craigslist -Free - $100 per month
Warm Market - Free (Haven't signed up anyone from my warm market in probably 3 months).
Total monthly cost on average $200 - $300 per month.
how many people have I recruited this month so far, using the above? At least a dozen. What I am getting at, is you don't need to spend alot of money to get your prospects, but you must find them if you are going to be a success. There are many ways to find them without spending an arm and a leg as I have just shown you. If someone joins my team and they don't have disposable income they will have to build their business through their warm market and the social networking sites utilizing Web 2.0. Unlike many of the pros out there who preach Pay Per Click, which has a very costly learning curve, I still think Web 2.0 is by far one of the best ways to build your MLM Business.
