Article marketing has changed. 2.0 marketing will optimize your web site and attract a mass, target audience for service and product sales profits.

Build your home business, coaching and other small business sales featuring yourself as the expert that can make a difference in people's lives. Article small business marketing in web 2.0 mode will bring you credibiliy, brand business, web ranking and life long customers.

Web 1.0 article marketing was a great start. It was free too. When you sumitted articles to 100's of sites it worked well creating you much visibility until Google changed the rules. Now these mistakes can cost you--to even be black balled by Google. When they see two articles alike, they will remove one of them so you are not ahead of the game with this approach.

When so many new article directory sites got into the game, pitching their affiliate programs with automatic article writing programs, article blasters, gluttting the market, article quality went down. So, you must be flexible and think quality with Internet marketing.

Today, for each article you write for www.ezinearticles.com, you must change its content and key words at least 15% when you submit it to other article directories or blogs, or they will consider it plagerism. Want to compare your same topic articles to see if they pass the test? Go to http://www.dupecop.com/ and compare your original and revised articles side-by-side.

Social networking blog and original publication sites like HubPages and Squidoo not only teach the standards of the web 2.0 game by writers meeting their requirements, they allow for a rich environment of information sharing and writer/reader connectivity. As your article numbers increase, so do your fans, your audience, your credibility, your self-branding, and your business profit potential begins to soar.

Benefits and Techniques of Updated Article Marketing

-Unlike pay-per-click, it's FREE. Once you submit only 2-3 articles a week that takes about 3 hours per week of your time.

-Web 2.0 techniques drive highly targeted traffic to your site for a lifetime.

-Raise and test your keyword content. Use Google Trends.

-If you don't want to submit or manage your submisssions, you can delegate to an assistant at a low cost, one that brings you 10-20 times your investment.

-Readers of your articles will click links back to your site when you inlude a potent blurb with benefits.

-This marketing is networking at its best. You use the law of attraction to manifest new web visitors, not hard line sales techniques.

-When you make your articles keyword rich, Google will notice these and make your web pages rise like bread dough.

-Comments and interaction on article sites will create constantly updated and enhanced pages which fair better on search engine rankings, driving more traffic to you, your business, and your products.

Since I've researched and practiced this new article marketing style, after a bit of a learning curve, my unique web visitors (http://www.bookcoaching.com/) have doubled. Alexa ratings have increased and it's just the beginning.

Like me, be in it for the long range success-to make a name for yourself as the expert to use for your service. Your prospects want their problems solved, so put that high on your marketing list.

Interesting stuff but I am confused :)

Publishing your original, high quality article in many locations is called syndication.

Creating automated sites posting spun articles is called webspamming.

My understanding is that Google is not penalizing syndication as long as the article links back to the source site, which is what you do with your signature, resource box or coyright notice.

Hi!

It is my current understanding that even with linking back to the source, syndication places the original publication at risk based on credibility. For example, say that an article is published on a younger website with very low traffic (Site A) and then an older, very popular website (Site B) picks up the content and places it on one of their pages. Google might then outweigh Site B over Site A based on how credible its crawler deems the domain and then drop the original page from Site A from the engine. If the original publication is already on a very credible site there's probably little risk.

Programs are not perfect and SEO is more of an art than a science, so there's aways potential risk. You're also trusting a program to distinquish between duplicate content and syndicated content.

To avoid such a problem I would recommend updating your pages/articles on a regular basis. Comments and RSS feeds provide an automated way to tweak this, but refreshing and adjusting information as it changes is also a good idea.

Good luck!

Hi Judy, greetings from beautiful Montana:

It is hard to keep up with all the trends and traffic. the best thing I ever did was hire a young assistant. I go out and do talks so I can afford to pay her salary, but she is moving me fast and furious into the techie age.

However, she is off kayaking for the summer! So, I am learning and doing on my own again.

This was an interesting take on artilce marketing and I always appreciate your feedback and information.

Thanks, Judy H. Wright aka Auntie Artichoke, family relationship coach and author
