  1. Explicit Phrase:
    If you are searching for a phrase or a half sentence then you should type it in google search bax as a explicit phrase. For example you are looking for belly fat burner instead of just typing belly fat burner into the Google search box, you will likely be better off searching explicitly for the phrase. To do this, simply enclose the search phrase within double quotes.
    Example: "belly fat burner"
  2. Exclude Words:
    Lets stick with first example belly fat burner, but you want to exclude any results that contain the term Pills. To do so, simply use the "-" sign in front of the word you want to exclude.
    Example Search: belly fat burner -pills
  3. Site Specific Search:
    Lets say you find what you are looking for at a particular site, but that site doesn’t offer built-in search, in that case you can use Google to search the site for your term. Simply use the "site:somesite.com" modifier.
    Example: "fat burner" site:www.healtharticles.com
  4. Specific Document Types:
    If you’re looking to find results of your search in typical file format, you can use the modifier "filetype:". For example, you might want to find only PowerPoint presentations related to fat burners.
    Example: "fat burners" filetype:ppt
  5. Calculator:
    Google also have built-in calculator in their search box. You can work with these basic operators

  12. allintitle:Query
    If you use this command you restrict the result to only sites that has your query in their title.
    Example: allintitile:nrikerala
  13. intitle:Query
    If you use this command you restrict the result to only documents that has your query in their title.
    Example: intitile:nrikerala
  14. allinurl:Query
    If you use this command you restrict the result to URL that has your query in it.
    Example: allinurl:nrikerala
  15. inurl:Query
    If you use this command you are restricting your results to documents containing that query in the URL.
    Example: inurl: fat burn
  16. safesearch:Query
    If you are using google with safe search off and for some reason you want google to filter your particular search from explicit contents for that particular query, you should use this command.

  17. Product search with range
    Use this command for googling products with range you have in mind.
    Example: Iphone $100…500
  18. Adjacent words
    Looking for results that have query words adjacent to each other try this.
    Example: honey*bee

    Some special Web Searches powered by google.
