01.Wendell's Restaurant

Westerville, OH

Wendell's restaurant is an upscale eatery focused on customer service and employee enthusiasm

Wendell's bathroom features a classic sports theme and is praised for being neat, clean and having lots of towels and even mouthwash!

Nominator looked for: Cleanliness, good quality paper towels and hand soap, vent fans

02. All Season's Bistro


Lansing, MI

All Season’s Bistro is not your everyday restaurant - this successful, family-owned bistro is often chosen over leading chains like Outback and P.F. Changs.

The restrooms in All Season’s Bistro feel like home, as the stylish decor is in "bistro" tradition with paintings designed specifically to complement the colors of the restaurant.

Nominator looked for: “I pick apart restrooms for a living and there was not much to pick at here! It looked clean, smelled clean and was well maintained. The paint looked fresh and shiny and the mirrors were streak free. Not to mention the stylish old world tiles lining the floor. This is one of a few public restrooms I would allow myself, my wife and children to use and not worry about it.”

03. Hemenway's

Providence, RI

This Rhode Island seafood restaurant has wall-to-ceiling windows overlooking a river and is a local hotspot for local celebrities, politicians, and sports stars.

To the pleasure and convenience of visitors, Hemenway’s restrooms are more than clean. Visitors get a sense of overall quality because of their simple elegance and charm -something every visitor can appreciate.

Nominator looked for: “Cleanliness of course, something different that lets visitors know they are important.”

04.Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa

Atlantic City, NJ

Every restroom in this hotel and casino in Atlantic City spares no expense. The hotel features 2,000 guest rooms and suites, 125,000 square feet of gaming, 145 gaming tables, 3,600 slot machines, 11 destination restaurants, 11 retail boutiques, a 50,000 square foot spa, 70,000 square feet of event space, and parking for 7,100 cars.

Pictured at left is the men’s public restroom on Borgata’s gaming floor. Marble floors complement warm wood tones and clean, contemporary stainless steel sinks. Restroom users have their choice of hand towels or using one of the dryers..

Nominator looked for: Cleanliness; style; an attendant; scented air; plenty of sinks, urinals and stalls with proper locking devices.

05. Quad City International Airport

Moline, IL

Moline/Quad City International serves travelers from Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois regional areas. There are currently five airlines serving 8 nonstop hub cities. Nearly 878,000 passengers passed through this Illinois airport in 2004.

Thanks to a recent renovation, the men and women’s restroom is clean, simple, pleasant, and exactly what you'd want in an airport washroom.

Nominator looked for: Touch-free systems always a huge bonus. Cleanliness. Something to make a restroom unique, whether that's decor, style, etc.
