Its been since the 2005 Fiesta bowl against Notre Dame that Ohio State has won a bowl game. In '06 they went undefeated only to get taken to the woodshed by Florida in the National Title game. The following season (2007) they went 11-1 and earned another trip to the National Title game only to lose to a talented, and some would argue, faster LSU team. The 2008 Buckeyes went 10-2 before losing a heartbreaker in the Fiesta Bowl against Texas. Some would blame the bowl slump on the time between the end of the regular season game to the bowl game, which is about a month and a half. The SEC only has about a month because they have their conference championship game. Personally I think it's a poor excuse, but I also think the Big Ten should add another team so they can have 12 teams and a conference championship game. The Big Ten is weak right now and a conference championship game would help the conference on the same level as the Big 12 and SEC. It's clear the Buckeyes have a problem finishing. For the 2009 season the Buckeyes will be a really good team as Terrelle Pryor matures the team will come up with a big win against USC. Don't get excited about a National Championship though. Teams like; Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma seem too strong for the Buckeyes. Buckeyes go 11-1 in the regular season.
