2009 Classic Equine ESP Saddle Pads
67The NEW ESP Saddle Pad Look for 2009
A lot of people are not aware that Classic Equine has came out with a brand new pattern design for the ESP Wool Top pads as well as the ESP contoured saddle pads for 2009. They have stepped it up a notch and really have came out with bold wild western colors for their new pattern design as well. People are really just now starting to talk and ask questions about these saddle pads. The "word on the street" is that they are different this year. We are going to answer some of the common questions that have been asked about the saddle pads right now.
Common Questions for the new 2009 ESP Pads
Q. Is this pad still made the same way?
A. Yes, these pads are still made with the same technology as last year. The only difference is the sizes, new pattern, and new colors.
Q. Are the pads the same size as last year (2008)?
A. Yes and No. The regular ESP Wool Tops have changed as far as sizes go. The smaller size is now 32" long and 34" wide - the larger size is now 34" long and 38" wide. The ESP Contoured pads are the same sizes that they were last year which is 30" long and 36" wide for the smaller size and the larger size is 33" long and 38" wide.
Q. Why did the ESP Wool Top Sizes Change?
A. The sizes changed just in the width and not the length of the saddle pads. This will allow more of the saddle pad to hang down on the sides of the horse to show more of the pattern and colors of the saddle pad.
Q. Is the ESP Contoured pads more expensive than the ESP Wool Tops?
A. The manufacture's suggested retail prices for the Wool Tops and the Contoured pads are the same for 2009. However, that does not necessarily mean that the retail store you shop at will have the two saddle pad styles priced the same.
Q. Are the 2008 patterns still available?
A. In order to find a 2008 pattern you will need to locate a retail store that still has some left in stock. All of the 2008 pattern colors and pattern designs for the Wool Top and the Contoured pad have been discontinued by the manufacturer.
